Repentance Is Not I’m Sorry

Repentance is more than saying “I’m sorry.” It means to turn or change one’s mindset and behavior. Matthew 3:8-11 and the parable in Matthew 21:28-31 show that true repentance requires actions that reflect a changed heart.

Repentance is a continual commitment to turning away from sin. Acts 2:38 and 2 Peter 3:9 emphasize changing one’s ways, accepting Jesus, and being baptized to receive the Holy Spirit.

True repentance involves genuine change, not just words. If someone teaches otherwise, they are misleading you. #marcusvbrown #izfly
